Current software solutions tailored towards deaf students require clunky "glasses" and are dependent on internet connections. Reticle fixes that and provides a reliable, unprecedented AI-based solution that can be used both in and outside the classroom.

Reticle's Audio Lens not only locates the point of sound, but also interprets the conversation and captions it on the screen using natural language processing. Through only a smartphone app, the hard-of-hearing user can locate and caption conversations happening around her through augmented reality - and with shocking  accuracy. 

Through our artificial intelligence model, multiple conversations may be monitored and captioned at the same time; if the individual(s) speaking is not in sight of the phone user, on-screen instructions are provided to the user to navigate her to the source of audio.

Recordings of the dialog may be saved with or without video for later use. This scenario is ideal for classroom environments and also relieves the need for a sign language interpreter. This solution is provided entirely on-device - no additional equipment or internet connection required.
